About Us

PHASE88LXXXVIII, based on the "8 stages of life" developed by psychologist Erik Erikson, delineates the psychosocial development phases that individuals undergo from birth to old age. This framework inspired us to create this brand, offering creative ideas, designs, and collections that reflect the emotional and psychological milestones experienced throughout the human life cycle. Below is the meaning of each drop:

1. Infancy (Trust vs. Mistrust): In this stage, designs may incorporate soft, cozy, and secure fabrics for baby apparel, emphasizing comfort and nurturing.

2. Early Childhood (Autonomy vs. Shame and Doubt): The focus should be on playful, colorful, and functional clothing that encourages independence and self-expression in children's attire.

3. Preschool (Initiative vs. Guilt): Designers may create vibrant and imaginative pieces that inspire creativity and align with a child's burgeoning sense of initiative.

4. School Age (Industry vs. Inferiority): Practical yet stylish outfits for school-aged children should reflect the need for confidence and a sense of belonging within social contexts.

5. Adolescence (Identity vs. Role Confusion): Fashion during this stage may explore themes of individuality, rebellion, and self-discovery, featuring bold colors, unique patterns, and innovative styles.

6. Young Adulthood (Intimacy vs. Isolation): Designs should emphasize connection and elegance, with options for social gatherings, including evening wear or casual looks.

7. Middle Adulthood (Generativity vs. Stagnation): Professional attire or family-oriented designs that balance productivity with care and practicality are essential in this stage.

8. Maturity (Integrity vs. Despair) Comfortable, timeless garments that reflect wisdom and life experience should be prioritized, focusing on quality rather than fleeting trends.
